Brandt installs new
pipe finishing floor
BRANDT Engineered Products of
Regina, Canada, and the United
Kingdom has announced the successful
delivery, installation and commissioning
of a premium thread table and pipe
finishing floor handling equipment to
one of the global leaders in API pipe
production located in Canada.
Utilising the Brandt modular design,
the equipment was installed and
commissioned at the site in a fast and
efficient manner. The equipment is
designed and manufactured utilising
the latest in mechanical and electrical
technologies.
Brandt thread tables integrate with
the most modern CNC machine tools.
These CNC machine tools are big bore
lathes (threaders) and are used to
produce both API and premium threads
on tube and pipe. Brandt equipment
offers a competitive edge by positioning
material in and out of the threaders
quickly, keeping up with the improved
cycle time’s offered by the latest
machine tool suppliers. Maintaining
cycle times with threaders is a critical
variable to ensure the investment in
the machine tool is achieving maximum
return.
The Brandt threading table provides
benefits by maximising valuable
machine tool time, maintaining low
cost of production and maintenance,
minimising rework caused by unwanted
pipe movement and increasing
productivity through quick material
handling.
