High-thread machines and
clamping systems
AT EMO 2013 Hagen & Goebel will
show its new horizontal CNC-controlled
workpiece end machining FEB 3-150 for
profiles and full material with automatic
tool changer and updated Siemens
CNC controller.
Beside the rangeof technical optimised
high-thread machines, machining units,
clamping systems Hagen & Goebel will
present a horizontal CNC flange and
end finishing machine. This machine
was designed specifically to participate
in round or profiled workpieces of any
length, quickly and easily as the piece
ends for milling, drilling, deburring or
threads. The powerful spindle motor, in
conjunction with the newest Siemens
CNC control type 840Dsl, ensures a
continuously variable speed range up to
6,000rpm. The massive three feed axes
have each a maximum stroke of 150mm.
The new automatic tool changer for
six tools makes the machine usable for
operation cycles with several tools. The
front clamping table is arranged with
two manual centric vices with clamping
range Ø 12-100mm. Modifications
concerning customers’ requests are
possible.
Hagen & Goebel, known for high
quality and high-speed tapping
products, increased its production range
of boring, facing and milling units and
centric vices. It is now able to deliver
spindle units in several designs up to
maximum motor power of 50KW and
strong sideway units in box-case design
for heavy processes. The hydraulic
working centric vices are designed for
outside diameter of workpieces up to
660mm.
At the EMO 2013 exhibition, Hagen &
Goebel will present its fastest threading
unit type GE6/7. The unit, designed for
screw sizes up M6, is for manufacturing
ultra-threaded, eg in the electrical
contacts manufacturing corresponds
wraps. Highlights are up to 140 strokes
per minute and maximum actual spindle
speeds up to 5,600rpm.
Hagen & Goebel will also present
its completely updated high-speed-
thread machine named HG-22Servo.
This has both NC-drive with motor
15KW in combination with specially
designed Siemens controller and touch
screen. The synergy of both systems
produces the highest clock frequency
with a high drive performance and easy
programmability of the complete system.
By equipping the H&G Multi Cylinder
– series with a position transmitter it is
now possible to detect the position of
the piston of the basic cell with stroke
lengths up to 50mm directly by an
electronically transmitter.
