The September Issue
Welcome to the latest issue of
Tube & Pipe Technology
magazine. This issue we have an in-depth feature on tube mills
and roll forming and take a look at the EMO Hannover show
and Tubotech 2013. We also have two technical articles –
OTO SpA discuss tube mills and Schwarze-Robitec write about
some of the latest developments in the science of tube bending.
I will soon be heading to TuboTech in São Paulo, Brazil, for
the second time in just a few weeks and it will be interesting
to see how the country has evolved even just in the past
two years as Brazil’s growth as a major international power
appears to continue at a rapid pace. Of course, some of the
excitement surrounding next year’s FIFA World Cup and the
Olympics in Rio in a couple of years has been dampened
by the recent riots but this is still a very exciting time for the
country, and hopefully the people of the country will come
to an amicable agreement with their leaders. I found it a
charming country that I look forward to visiting once again so
please do come and pick up a copy of the latest magazine if
you are heading to Brazil.
Next issue we have features on Fabtech 2013
(which I will also be attending) and we look at
the latest developments in welding technology
and the area of drilling, piercing and punching.

November issue please contact me at:
