“God’s Winter Wonderland” by Louise Pinkerton Fritz
Across the old red bridge we go
And onward tracking through the snow
O’er wintry, winding country lanes,
Past cottages with frosted panes.
Along the way a deer appears,
Standing erect, with pointed ears.
Upon a hill, ice-laden trees
Leaning forward as on bended knees.
And down the hill the children ride
On sleighs ... it’s such a joyous sight!
On country pond the skaters band;
How great God’s Winter Wonderland.
Losing a family member anytime is difficult, but especially when
celebrating the first holiday without them. Glen W. Lancaster,
father of Everitt Lancaster, passed away November 29

. Please
remember the Lancaster family during this holiday season in your
prayers. A cheery card will help to lift their spirits.
