equipment Eldan Recycling A/S has
delivered a cable recycling plant to
the municipality of Faaborg-Midtfyn in
Denmark. The firstmachine, aMicroModule,
was installed at the beginning of 2012
and was run at full production throughout
the year. In November 2012 the second
machine, a Rasper R400-3, was delivered
and successfully integrated with the Micro
Module. Eldan Recycling’s machines have
a modular design to enable a number of
different combinations.
“The modular approach is one of our
trademarks. It gives our customers possibility
to gradually grow their business as we see
at the municipality of Faaborg-Midtfyn.
The Rasper R400-3 will increase capacity
and make it possible to process larger
cables,” said Mr Flemming Hansen, product
manager at Eldan Recycling.
The Faaborg-Midtfyn plant processes
dry cables collected from building and
restoration projects within the municipality,
and the output material is sold to metal
traders. The processing capacity will be
approximately 400kg per production hour.
