Day 1 Malta – Rome
Meet your tour manager at Malta International for flight
Malta – Rome. Proceed for city tour of Rome visiting the
most important landmarks of Rome, visiting St. Mary Major
Basilica – one of the four main Basilicas in Rome – St.
John in Lateran the ‘mother of all churches’, built under
the emperor Constantine, the first Christian Caesar, and
renewed by Borromini in the XVII century – The “Holy Stairs”
with the 28 steps ascended by Christ in Pontius Pilates’
house during his trial, San Paolo Fuori le Mura which is a
patriarchal basilica dedicated to St Paul, near the site of his
tomb and containing his shrine. It is also the Roman basilica
assigned to the Patriarch of Alexandria, and the second
largest church in Rome. Later we will proceed to Navona
Square, a typical Baroque square and The Pantheon which
is the most complete ancient building in Rome and one
of the city’s most spectacular sights. Visit to the Vatican,
St Peter`s Basilica the largest Church of the world, with
millions of golden mosaics, several Tombs of Popes and the
Pieta, Michelangelo`s most important sculpture. Transfer
to the 4* Fiume Hotel/ Evening return transfers to Piazza
di Spagna.
Day 2 Imperial Rome
Breakfast and the tour today will take you to the main
places of interest such as The Colosseum , Foro Romano,
Piazza Venezia, Altare della Patria and Campidoglio, Via
del Babuino, Via del Corso, and Piazza del Popolo, Spanish
Steps and Piazza di Spagna, the most famous square in
Rome with its 138 steps and the fountain of the Barcaccia,
the Trevi Fountain and more. You will also visit Trinita’
dei Monti which is a famous church in Rome, well known
because of its location just above the Spanish Steps that
descend into the Piazza di Spagna. The church is dedicated
to the Holy Trinity and the full name of the church is
‘Santissima Trinità al Monte Pincio’. Evening return transfers
to Fontana Di Trevi,
Day 3 Euroma2 Shopping Centre
Breakfast and transfer to Euroma2 Shopping Centre
which is one of the most exclusive and biggest shopping
centres in the city. In fact, it is the biggest shopping
centre in Europe at the moment! Euroma2 is located in
Eur District where you’ll find clothing stores, restaurants,
caffes, supermarkets, home furnishing stores and skin
care shops. Among the well known brands in Euoroma2,
there are: Accessorize, Alviero Martini, Atlet Wordl, Calvin
Klein, Calzedonia, Foot Locker, Guess, Golden Point, New
York, Quicksilver, Promod, Stefanel, Skorpion By, Sandro
Ferrone, Tezenis, Timberland, Tommy Hilfingher, Triumph
and Yamamay. Evening return transfers to Piazza Navona.
Day 4 Rome - Malta
Breakfast and transfer to Airport for your flight to Malta.
