HAVERGAL COLLEGE
Marianne Oundjian 1969, a
member of the Ellen Knox Society,
has made provisions to support
Havergal College with a planned
gift. In addition to her bequest,
Marianne recently established
The Marianne Oundjian 1969
International Enrichment Fund in
order to experience the growth and
development of her endowment.
Marianne’s bequest ultimately will
be added to her newly established
endowment. This fund will provide
financial assistance to one or more
Havergal College students annually,
so that they are able to participate
in international excursions.
Throughout her lifetime, Marianne
has travelled extensively and
expressed an interest in wanting
to share these opportunities
and experiences with Havergal
students. She believes it is
important to broaden students’
horizons at a young age to give
them perspective beyond what they
get at home.
International excursions can inspire
new outlooks, new professional
paths and new interests. As
Marianne said: “You just never
know where these experiences are
going to lead, which is exciting.”

The Class of 2012 Endowment for the Arts
In recent years, graduating class families have contributed a special gift to the school in
honour of their daughters’ graduation. Families of the 2012 graduating class established an
endowment fund to support the arts at Havergal, including fine art, drama, music, dance
and photography. A committee of parent volunteers and student representatives worked
throughout the year to encourage support for the gift, with $107,000 raised to establish this
fund. Thank you to all of the students and families who so generously supported the Class of
2012 Endowment for the Arts.
