Lukas Anlagenbau

Lukas

Anlagenbau

GmbH

is

a

family-owned company, established in

1959, that produces customer-speci c

equipment for the wire and cable

industry. The focus of its products is on

complete taping lines for producing

taped or wrapped conductors with tape

materials like PTFE, Kapton, metal tapes,

mica, polyester, etc.

Also for producing special cables for

medical, aircraft and high frequency

applications, its taping lines can be found

at many well-known suppliers worldwide.

Furthermore, its product range covers

single components like payo s, capstans,

caterpillars and take-ups, up to complete

rewinding lines and ne wire drawing

lines for non-ferrous materials.

During recent years the development

has been advanced by the intention of

energy and size reduction. The company

will be exhibiting its taping machines for

high frequency coax cable applications

and to extend its business in the cable

industry

with

cost-optimised

and

easy-to-integrate taping and heating

solutions.

Sikora AG

Sikora will present a cross-section of

its wide range of measuring, testing

and controlling devices for process

optimisation, quality increase and cost

saving for the wire, cable, optical bre

and plastic industries. The range of

devices features a variety of technical

innovations.

Highlights include X-ray technology with

the X-Ray 6000 Pro that measures the

outer diameter, ovality, wall thickness

and eccentricity of up to three layers of

di erent insulation material in real time

and thus supports cable manufacturers

to run their production lines most

e ciently.

For process optimisation during MV, HV

and EHV cable production, the X-Ray

8000 NXT is o ered. Directly integrated

into CCV, VCV and MDCV lines it measures

wall thickness, eccentricity, ovality and

diameter of the cable.

Measuring values for centring and control

are available immediately after starting

up the line.

For applications that require only a

diameter and/or ovality measurement

Sikora o ers the Laser Series 2000 and

the Laser Series 6000, with additional

lump detection.

For lump detection on the cable

surface only, the Lump 2000 Series is

recommended by Sikora. The company

will also present spark testers for the

detection of insulation faults.
