In 1892, the German engineer Paul
Troester started building machines which
could process unvulcanised rubber and
gutta-percha.
125 years later, Troester is now well
known as an extrusion partner and a
supplier of machines and lines for the
cable manufacturing industry. At wire
Russia, the company will present a variety
of information and new developments
in the eld of CCV lines and VCV lines
for XLPE and rubber cables, one-step
silane lines for LV and MV cable
applications, as well as high-speed
insulation lines and sheathing lines.
Technical
solutions
for
CV
tube
components, heavy duty cable jacketing
and submarine cable equipment will also
be introduced.
Troester will also be representing
its subsidiary, X-Compound, which
supplies compounding plants for cable
compounds such as PVC, HFFR, XLPE,

Zumbach will showcase its extensive
portfolio of dimensional measurement
and inspection systems for wire
drawing, wire insulating and cable
jacketing processes as well as for rod
and bar mills.
In order to achieve the highest
precision and best price-performance
ratio, di erent technologies such
as laser scanning, X-ray, ultrasound,
light-section technique and linear
sensor technology are used.
Exhibits will be, among others, new
developments of super fast three-axis
laser diameter heads of the Odac®
family, DVO 2 and DVW 1 oscillating
devices for Odac® gauges, MSD
diameter and ovality gauges with
novel linear sensor technology, Odex®
combined diameter and eccentricity
measuring system, and Capac® for
in-line capacitance measurement and
FFT/SRL analysis.
Additionally, on show will be the
Umac® Wallmaster in-line ultrasonic
measuring and control system for
concentricity and wall thickness; and
the Rayex® X-Ray measuring system
for diameter/ovality, wall thickness
and concentricity for CV power cable
applications.
Newly developed AC and DC spark
tester solutions and modular USYS
IPCe data acquisition and processing
systems will also be on display. For
hot and cold rolling mill applications,
the rotating Steelmaster SMR will be
presented.
Simac®
