These new spools t exactly onto a Euro
pallet and save space and money. They
are made of high quality materials,
which use resources sparingly.
Häfner is well known in the USA
as producer of spools and reels for
bare wires and welding wires and for

iiM AG o ers a complete range of
sample
preparation
equipment
and standard-conform o ine cable
measurement devices for geometric
measurements of cable cross-sections.
The trade fair highlight for iiM AG is
the next generation of VCPX5 cable
measuring devices.
The version VCPX5-16, which has been
in series production since the start of
2016, is more than just a facelift and
o ers some noteworthy technological
further developments. For instance,
improved optical systems, especially
for medium and large measuring elds
(M,L) lead to higher resolutions and
reduced measurement uncertainties.
The
new,
compactly
integrated
light/light control system provides
‘intelligent’ light, which o ers an
optimum, homogeneous light source.
The VCPX5-16 can now be supplied
on request as an XL version with a
measuring eld of up to 200 x 200mm.
Besides the further development of
the VCPX5, the software VCPEasy 2.0
was created as the continuation of its
easy and secure operating concept.
This is not a functional reduction of the
measuring and evaluation software
FMC-3, but rather a simpli cation
by focusing on the core tasks of
production-related measuring.
In addition, the operation is better
coordinated to the use of the
touchscreen on the VCPX5. Higher-level
CAQ systems (Aesa CIQ, ProCable 3,
Advaris) can also be connected via
VCPEasy.
In addition to the cable measuring
device VCPX5-16 including the software
VCPEasy 2.0, the sample cutters ORC
65 and ORC 80 will be presented at the
trade fair.
