Caribbean Export provides support to
the management consulting industry
in the form of an annual Business
Symposium. A significant feature of this
initiative has been the B2B meetings
between CARIFORUM, European
management consulting practitioners
and firms. This staging is indicative
of a focus on increasing the trade
in services as anticipated under the
CARIFORUM-EU EPA. The European
country spread of European firms
participating in these Business Symposia
includes Spain, France, Belgium,
Germany and the United Kingdom.
This platform has led to CARIFORUM
firms engaging in strategic business
partnerships with regional as well as
European counterparts with positive
implications for the generation of
business opportunities. To date, 138
regional management consultants have
participated in the annual Business
Symposium
(Figure 11)
