by theatre professionals, explores
fundamental skills for the stage through
games, exercises, monologues, and

Stand-Up Comedy
Getting a laugh can be one of the most
exhilarating of feelings. In this workshop,
stand-up comedy will bring together your
life stories with a punchline. You’ll learn
to be your authentic self while getting
smiles and downright belly laughs. We
will work collaboratively to generate the
jokes and personal performing style of
each class member using some tried and
true formulas. And of course you’ll get to
show off your material with a showcase
at the last class. All experience levels
welcome.
