home Uptown near the Mardi Gras
parade route, Carnival is the season
where they pull out all the stops.
“We host several open houses over
the big weekends and, of course,
on Fat Tuesday,” Jeff explains. “It’s
important to us to share the city’s
rich culture with our friends and
family.” “A spiffy cocktail and
yummy local fare has a lot to do with
it too,” chuckles Ron with a wink.
The decorations go up on Twelfth
Night and their stunning collection
of Mardi Gras home decor takes
center stage. Original folk art,
handmade ceramics, and charming
interpretations of flambeaux and
king cakes are cherished pieces
collected over many years.
