Exploring this Book

This book is divided into five chapters. The first one

describes the differences between the Arctic and the

Antarctic. The second looks at the people who live in the

Arctic (no one has ever settled in the Antarctic). The next

the Antarctic. Finally we look at the polar regions today,

at both their political and environmental importance.
