Employment of former solicitor.

ON a report from a Committee it was decided to

grant an application under section 60 by a solicitor

to employ and

remunerate in connection with

his practice a former solicitor who had been struck

off the roll. Permission was given for a period of

two years and subject to certain conditions.

THE OSLO CONFERENCE.

THE Sixth International Conference of the Legal

Profession under the auspices of the International

Bar Association will be held in Oslo, Norway,

July 23-28, 1956, with Den Norske Sakforerforening

as Host Organization.

The International Bar Association is composed

of the national bar associations of forty-eight

nations of the world, with approximately four

hundred individual members of the legal profession
