On behalf of the Edmonton Tourism our industry partners, the City of Edmonton and Travel Alberta’s
Jennifer Holly, it is our pleasure to invite the 2017 Conference to Edmonton. Alberta’s capital city is
ready to welcome your client’s guests to their prestigious event and we are certain this proposal
creates the framework for the most memorable event ever. There’s a uniqueness to how we do
ordinary things in Edmonton, a region home to over one million friendly and welcoming people.
Education might be the goal of your conference, but it’s the experience of the destination that
attendees talk about for years to come. After a day of inspiration at your event, the list of truly
awesome things to do Edmonton will leave your delegates wishing they had more free time. Alberta is
the only province in Canada without a provincial sales tax—benefitting your core budget, and the
wallets of your delegates looking to shop and explore Edmonton—so every member gets more from
their time in Edmonton!
In this package you will see that we can offer a couple of options. The only hotel that can fit your
entire conference is the Delta South, and they have offered a very competitive proposal if smaller
exhibits can be accommodated. The other option is to have the conference at the our Shaw
Conference Centre located downtown and have your delegates stay at hotels that are all walking
distance to the Conference Centre. All Proposals are part of this package.
