Carlow in place of Mr. Terence Doyle, Solicitor,

who has resigned.

OBITUARY

MR. MICHAEL A. CONROY, Solicitor, died at his

residence, Ballaghaderreen, on 3oth January, 1948.

Mr. Conroy served his apprenticeship with Mr.

George Lynch, Galway, was admitted in Hilary

Sittings, 1921, and practised in Ballaghaderreen under

the style of Farrell and Conroy.

mitted in Trinity Sittings, 1904 and practised as

partner in the firm of Beauchamp and Orr at 5 Foster

Place, Dublin from which he recently retired.

MR. HARRY R. WHELAN died at a private nursing

home in Dublin on 7th February, 1948.

Mr. Whelan served his apprenticeship with the

late Mr. Trevor T. L. Overend, Dublin, was ad-

MR. JAMES POE, Solicitor, died at Archersgrove,

Kilkenny, on 8th February, 1948.

Mr. Poe was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings.

1890, and practised as partner in the firm of James

Poe & Kiely in Kilkenny.
