The Group’s total charges are subject to a 17% service charge and 5% GST.
Function space is reserved for the time indicated only. Additional set-up/tear-down/rehearsal time,
if required, must be specified on the program. Should you anticipate any program revisions, please
advise us as soon as possible so that we may reserve the appropriate space to accommodate your
group. Any function space requirements subsequent to the program noted above will be subject to
space availability at the time requested and additional rental fees may apply.

Internet Access:
ADSL high-speed internet access in function rooms: $150 CAD per function room per day wired or wireless
connection available.
Audio-Visual Equipment:
Audio-visual equipment arranged on your behalf by our in-house supplier, Freeman Audio-Visual is charged
by that company and billed to you directly by The Sutton Place Hotel Edmonton. Should you wish to bring
in another supplier, a minimum surcharge of $250 will apply.
ATTRITION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
Should your group go ahead with its event, below are our standard cancellation and attrition policies.
Attrition:
The parties agree that the group and the Hotel will share in the loss of revenues suffered by the hotel in the
event of the group’s failure to utilize all of the rooms and services agreed to after the final 45-day review.
The group therefore agrees to pay a percentage of lost revenue.
For Guestroom room revenue, the lost revenue will be calculated by multiplying the number of rooms not
utilized out of the groups block times the average room rate of rooms actually utilized, plus tax.
