Bisceglia

The Bisceglia (pronounced: be-SHAYL-yah) estate is an important and dynamic winery offering a range

of top-quality products. After many years in the corporate food industry, Mario Bisceglia returned to his

land to begin this adventure and founded the estate in 2001. His goal is to continually produce world-class

wines made with both indigenous and international varietals grown in the Basilicata region.

Gudarrà Aglianico del Vulture DOC

The Bisceglia estate is situated on the lower slopes of the extinct volcano, Mount Vulture, in the historic

district of Lavello. Gudarrà, in local dialect, means “to be enjoyed.” The name of the wine is a tribute to its

concentrated flavors, which beg the drinker to enjoy another glass.

Gudarrà Aglianico del Vulture Riserva DOC

The Bisceglia estate is situated on the lower slopes of the extinct volcano Mount Vulture, in the historic

district of Lavello. Gudarrà, in local dialect, means “to be enjoyed.” The Riserva is their top wine and with

its deep, concentrated flavors, it is certainly a wine which is meant “to be enjoyed.”

Terra di Vulcano Aglianico del Vulture DOC

Basilicata, at the southern extreme of Italy, is a land shrouded in the shadow of Mount Vulture. This

ancient volcano dominates the landscape and characterizes the soil with the ash of past eruptions.

Made from 100% Aglianico, this wine is refined in stainless steel to retain the freshness and character of

this indigenous variety.

Tréje Basilicata IGT

Tréje in local dialect means “three,” which refers to the trio of grapes that make up this wine: Aglianico,

Merlot, and Syrah. The grapes are all hand-picked and vinified separately to respect the varietal character

of each. All three are refined in oak casks: Merlot and Syrah for six months and Aglianico for 12 months.
