Das Ostufer des nördlichen Ammersees
liegt nur eine halbe Autostunde entfernt im
Westen von München und verzaubert zu jeder
Jahreszeit mit ursprünglichen Naturpfaden.
Es empfiehlt sich, in Buch zu starten und am
Hochufer des Ammersees den 7-Brückerl-Weg
zwischen alten Buchen in Richtung Stegen zu
wandern. Nach den einladenden Liegewie-
sen wartet bereits das Seehaus Schreyegg
in Toplage direkt am See. Eine Einkehr ist in
vielfacher Hinsicht lohnenswert. Man genießt
eine unvergleichliche Bilderkulisse über den
Ammersee bis hinein in die Alpen und lässt
sich mit saisonalen Schmankerln vom Küchen-
team verwöhnen. Zurück nach Buch geht es
am Seeufer auf einem wildwüchsigen Pfad
mit Schilfgürteln und knorrigen Bäumen – mit
glitzernd spiegelnder Wasseroberfläche der
Abendsonne entgegen.
East shore Ammersee - a stroll along original nature
trails. The east shore of the Ammersee is just half an
hour's drive west of Munich. The original nature trails
are enchanting at any time of the year. Kick things
off in Buch and take the 7-Brückerl-Weg (7-Bridge
Road), high above the lakeshore, to Stegen - a route
lined by old beech trees. After relaxing on the inviting
lawns for a while, the restaurant Seehaus Schreyegg
awaits you in its perfect position directly by the lake-
side. A stopover is worthwhile in many ways. The
picturesque view over the Ammersee, all the way to
the Alps, is incomparable, and the seasonal special-
ties are a real treat. The route back to Buch takes
you along the lakeshore, on a wildly overgrown
path with belts of reeds and gnarled trees – while
the water glitters and reflects the evening sunshine.
