Die im Jahre 1924 erbaute Elmauer Alm
gehört zum weltbekannten Schloss Elmau
in der Alpenregion Karwendel und liegt auf
einem rund 1.200 m hohen Bergrücken.
Nirgendwo sonst hat man einen eindrucksvol-
leren Ausblick auf das Wettersteingebirge mit
Deutschlands höchstem Gipfel – der Zugspitze
(2.962 m). Die Elmauer Alm ist bei schöner Wit-
terung geöffnet und vom Wanderparkplatz in
Elmau in ca. 45 Minuten zu erreichen.
Sowohl bei Urlaubsgästen als auch bei einhei-
mischen Besuchern ist die Alm mit dem atem-
beraubenden Panorama-Rundblick als gemüt-
liches Ausflugsziel beliebt. Die Wanderer und
Besucher werden mit erfrischenden Getränken
und typisch bayerischen Gerichten verwöhnt.
The Mountain Restaurant Experience. Built in 1924,
Elmauer Alm is part of the world-renowned Schloss
Elmau in Karwendel in the Alps. Situated on a
mountain ridge at an altitude of 1,200 m, Elmauer
Alm is blessed with impressive views of the Wet-
terstein Mountains and Germany's highest peak –
the Zugspitze (2,962 m). The Alm is open whenever
the weather is fine and can be reached on foot
in around 45 minutes from the hikers' parking area
in Elmau. With its breath-taking panorama view,
the Alm makes a pleasant day trip for holiday-
makers and local visitors alike. Hikers and visitors
are invited to relax at the end of a great day with
a delicious assortment of refreshing drinks and
traditional Bavarian dishes.
