Wire & Cable ASIA – March/April 2007

Industry veterans will share their

insights with local and overseas

counterparts on the topic of

‘Sustainable Development of Asian

Mould and Die Industry’.

In addition, technological advances

will be introduced through a series

of seminars at the same venue,

making the event a one-stop

platform for business networking,

market information and cutting-edge

technology sourcing.

In 2005, Mould and Die Asia attracted

13,000 buyers from 41 countries and

regions.

59% of the buyers were from

manufacturing industries and 18% from

the mould and die making industry.

Executive management, production

management and purchasing person-

nel formed 61% of the buyers.

Proved by these achievements, the

organisers believe that the 2007

event will enlarge its scale and

increase the number of visitors to

more than 20,000.

Mould and Die Asia 2007 is organised

by Business and Industrial Trade

Fairs Ltd and Genertec International

Advertising and Exhibition Co Ltd, and

is fully supported by Hong Kong Mould

and Die Council (Federation of Hong

Kong Industries) and Guangdong Die

and Mould Industry Association.

New machines

to repair tools

With more than 130 years’ experience

in the manufacturing of drawing dies

Mouton has developed a complete

range of machines dedicated to the

production and repairing of tools,

in particular tungsten carbide wire

drawing dies.

– are under development and will be

commercialised in 2007-2008.
