This exam is carried out from moderately complex care situations.
The relationship with the patient imposes specific requirements on the nurse in individual
healthcare. Take into account the client’s requirements and the opinions and directions of the
profession and the institution where you are working. In this work you are confronted with choices
and dilemmas you have to be able to deal with. Give account of the choices you make in the
delivery of healthcare and services.
Developments in society and the health care sector require you to develop along with it. Read
specialist literature, such as specialist journals, and attend refresher courses. Carry out your
activities according to the knowledge and skills you have learned. Ask feedback about your work
and provide feedback to others. These activities ensure that you maintain your expertise.
Participate in intrinsic discussions about the profession with colleagues and others. This allows
you to contribute to the development of a view of the profession and the professional practice.
Share this view with others. Labour for the (interests of the) professional group.
