Cutting Tools

Design:

With axial and radial special grinding, guaranteeing optimum

cutting results. Carbide hole saws achieve long tool lives and can be

reground several times.

No breaking under increased loads. The tapered

pilot drill ensures smooth spot drilling (spot marking is not required) and

is fixed using a tightening screw.

Scope of supply: Hole saw incl. drill.

Application:

Can be used on portable and pillar drilling machines.

Note: With pillar drilling machines always choose manual feed.

Carbide tipped keyhole saw

HM

2715

Flat cut:

With ejection spring. This ejects the drilled part

and protects the carbide teeth during spot drilling. For

material thicknesses up to 4 mm, stainless steel up to

2 mm. From 16–30 mm the hole saw is made in one

piece. From 31 mm with specially hardened bit holders

to compensate the torsion forces. We recommend MK 2/

MK 3 from 31 mm. The sturdy design results in high

concentricity. The CAD-optimised rake angles with special

cut ensure high cutting performance and tool life. For flat

material

MBS:

With ejection spring. This ejects the drilled part and

protects the carbide teeth during spot drilling. For material

thicknesses up to max. 10 mm. (With material thicknesses

over 6 mm the tool needs to be set down for chips to be

emptied several times.) From 37 mm with specially har-

dened bit holders to compensate the torsion forces. We

recommend MK 2/MK 3 from 37 mm. The sturdy design

and advanced cutting edge geometry achieves a significant

improvement in cutting behaviour combined with a high

cutting capacity and tool life. For flat material but also fur

use on pipe material and curved surfaces.

2728

Deep cut:

Without ejection spring. For material

thicknesses up to 4 mm, stainless steel up to 2 mm.

Especially for pipe material and curved surfaces.
