General note:
VDI tool holders for CNC lathes consist of heat treata-
ble steel with a strength of ca. 900 N/mm2, hardness of 56 ±2 HRC
and hardness depth of min. 0.5 mm. In addition, all VDI tool holders
have a cylinder shank h6 with internal coolant supply and adjustable
ball slot nozzles.
Shank and supporting face, hardened and ground, with coolant
transfer hole.
