Chapter 7

Messiah Expected to Return

Who, How & When?

Satan constantly looked for the man who would crush its ugly head, testing

every man and woman blessed by God in a special way, because of the

promise made. God revealed Satan’s destiny saying “And I will put enmity

between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will

crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

(Genesis 3: 15)

Enmity is

hostility, animosity or a feeling of disgust for Satan. Certainly Jesus was in

opposition to Satan, but not hostile to any degree. Nor did Jesus resist what

the Hebrews poured out on Him to evidence that enmity was in His nature.

Enmity is a condition of the flesh, which is attributable to a mere man—not

a Divine man. [A mere man, the messiah, and a man created an order below

the angelic would complete that task and humiliate and defeat Satan.]

Jesus perfectly fulfilled what He came to do on earth! He finished that part

of the Father’s plan, and to suggest—or even to consider—He would need

to do it again is blasphemy! However, at the end of the period called “end

times” the second coming of Christ [anointed one] becomes a reality. A

second coming of Christ must take place, and Satan then placed under the

footstool of Jesus (the world is the footstool) by mere man and Satan’s head

is crushed.

Jesus will return again, a second coming, precisely as the book of

Revelation states: “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I

will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the

Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

(Rev 22: 12-13)
