A crisp 6.2” touchscreen
(when it’s not docked).
Amiibo
compatibility is
featured in the
right Joy-Con,
meaning all those
figurines you’ve
collected over the
years won’t be
going to waste.
There are heaps of
different accessories
available, including a
pouch for the console,
car chargers, different
coloured Joy-Cons, and
even a Pro Controller
that looks more like
your standard console
controller.
The battery life will vary
depending on what you’re
playing – as an example,
you’ll get around three
hours on
Breath of the
Wild
from a full charge.
32GB of internal
memory is included,
with a microSD card
slot available for
anything you can’t fit
on the console.
USB Type-C
connection for
charging.
The Switch can
be played in one
of three modes:
Standard TV
mode, Tabletop
Mode (with the
console featuring
a kick-stand),
and Handheld
Mode.
Two cute little Joy-Cons
(either Grey or Neon Blue/
Red) attach to both sides
of the console or can be
joined together with a Joy-
Con Grip.
The Switch console itself can be removed from the
dock and function as a completely separate entity –
pretty cool, right?
