CAPITAL RESERVE FUNDS (CRF)

Fire Apparatus CRF

MISSION

The purpose of the Capital Reserve Fund is to set aside funds annually to plan for and replace large Fire

Apparatus as a future pay-as-go capital outlay. This avoids resource competition and increasing debt

obligations for shorter life-cycled items.

SERVICE TO COMMUNITY

The Capital Reserve Fund provides the means to ensure fire safety equipment is mission ready to protect

the safety and wellbeing of the community.
