off and take-up systems for spools and
coils for non-stop operation in conjunction
with annealing, patenting, galvanising,
copper coating, bead wire, etc.
This year its expertise in this field
has been confirmed by an important
order from a leading multinational
company specialised in wire for marine
applications, for whom Eurolls had
developed a custom-made solution
with a dedicated accumulator system
to guarantee a non-stop pay-off and
take-up operation for Ø26mm high
carbon wire.

International experts from the wire and cable industry are
meeting in Düsseldorf, Germany, for a top-level exchange on 3rd
November 2015.
The seventh biennial cable and wire technical conference,
CabWire World Conference 2015, will be held at the Congress
Centre, Düsseldorf. Following the successful event in Milan in
2013, Düsseldorf will be ‘the place to be’ again – for the second
time – for all key players in the wire and cable industry. The
one-day conference will be accompanied by a foyer exhibition
and will conclude with an evening reception.
Organised by the sponsorship organisations of wire
Düsseldorf, experts from the exhibiting companies will
be giving presentations on news and trends in iron and
non-ferrous metals. They will include specialists from
the following companies: Leoni AG, SAMP SpA (Italy),
Maschinenfabrik Niehoff, SICME Italia Implanti, Sikora AG,
De Montfort University Leicester (UK), NV Bekaert SA
(Belgium), FMS Force Measuring Systems AG (Switzerland),
Ceeco Bartell Products (Canada) and others.
The following day, on 4th November, a guided tour will be given
at ArcelorMittal in Duisburg, against payment of a small cost
contribution. The company has two plants in which it produces
high-quality long products for the processing industry. Advance
