Scholarships
GNYADA offers a number of options when it
comes to scholarships in the automotive field of
study. All scholarships are intended to provide
financial assistance for tuition, fees and books
beyond the secondary level at any accredited
college, university or technical school.
The men and women who serve in the United
States military, regardless of branch, deserve
the honor, respect and thanks of a grateful
nation. While no single act can truly thank
these brave men and women who have served
our country faithfully, we, as an Association,
can at least provide them with greater
opportunity here at home.
The Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association proudly awards at least one U.S. Veteran with a
scholarship every year. In 2014, GNYADA awarded four outstanding U.S. Veterans with $20,000 in scholarships.

Job Bank Service
GNYADA offers a Job Bank Employment Service to all Association members. The
Job Bank is a recruitment and placement service that houses resumes of potential
employees looking to pursue a career in the Retail Automotive Industry.
GNYADA distributes approximately 1,000 resumes per month to inquiring
dealerships.
Employers can easily call our staff or browse to the Association’s website to view

Automotive Technology Competitions
One of the most pressing needs in the automotive industry is
to attract quality young individuals to automotive careers.The
GNYADA sponsored, Automotive Technology Competitions
has proven to be an excellent opportunity for just that.
GNYADA has sponsored the New York Automotive
Technology Competition and the National Automotive
Technology Competition to educate the next generation of
automotive technicians and accelerate the development and
demonstration of technologies of interest to the franchised
new car dealers and the automotive industry.
