I’m thankful for the many things
My God has given me
His blessings are like grains of sand
Or waves upon the sea,
Each breath I take reminds me
That truly, God is love,
For the bounty I’ve been given
Was sent from Him above –
The beauty that surrounds me
Gives me peace of mind,
Just seeing His creation
Through eyes that once were blind—
Too many are the stars to count
In just one galaxy.
So may are your blessings, Lord,
That you have given me!
