Peasa manufactures drawn over
mandrel, welded, aluminised, stainless
steel and conduit tubes, both hot rolled
and cold rolled.
The company offers steel grades SAE
1006, SAE1010, SAE1020, SAE1026,
SAE10B31, 340 XF, 420 XF, 490 XF,
E-195 (St 34-2), E-355 (ST 52-3), HSLA
304, HSLA 409, HSLA 439 and HSLA
441.
The company has invested in a precision
laser welding system for stainless steel
tubing, which allows not only the welding
process but also the chamfering of
the product, as well as cut to length
equipment, slitters, tungsten inner gas
mill, furnaces, one line cutting and
packaging machines.
Peasa products have a wide range
of applications. Its welded tubing can
be found in shock absorbers, seats,
supports, head rests, hospital beds,
wheelchairs, washing machines, coffee
machines and cooling systems, while
its stainless steel tubing can be used
in exhaust systems tubing, catalytic
converters and as ornamental tubing in
construction. The main uses of Peasa’s
aluminised tubing are in gas conduction
systems for electro domestics. Drawn
over mandrel tubing, the company’s
core business, is mostly used in shock
absorbers, steering columns, hydraulic
jacks and air bag tubing. The company’s
products can be packaged in square,
rectangular and hexagonal bundles,
and in paper boxes according to expo
regulations.
Peasa owns two facilities. The San
Luis Potosí, Mexico, site is dedicated
mainly to the automotive sector, while
the Mexico City facility focuses on the
supply of electric conduit tubing for the
construction industry.
