PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Skateboarding has continued to increase in popularity, thus created more
community interest and support for the project. This project would respond to
the need for a skate park facility and would utilize community partners to
participate in the planning, development, and construction of this project. This
project is consistent with the Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan
and 2005 Update, the approved Hilltop Park and Recreation Center Master Plan,
and directly impacts MAP Goals (Maintain Infrastructure and Provide Sustainable
Growth Opportunities).
