Which is better, M&M Cookie Sandwiches or Choco Tacos? Shaun: This is a tough one, but if the Good Ship pulled up to my dock and my parents only let me get one treat then I’d pick the Choco Taco. Shannon: No Comment ;) Do you have any hobbies? If so, give us some details! Shaun: I enjoy bass fishing, paddle boarding, wake boarding, wake surfing, snowboarding and spending time with Shannon and our two rescue dogs (Editor’s note: their dogs are SUPER cute). Shannon: I love traveling, stand up paddle boarding, cooking and brewing kombucha. You got to run the boat for one day already last summer, what was your biggest takeaway? Our biggest takeaway was that Joe is really good at what he does and he definitely makes it look easy!! We have big shoes to fill but are confident that between the two of us we will grow to become everyone’s second favorite ice cream boat operators! ; ) How do you feel about being the next ice cream boat operators? We are VERY excited about it!! Even more so after the boat was delivered to our dock last fall!! Is it summer yet?? What is your ideal “Maine Vacation” weekend? Shaun: My ideal Maine vacation would include waking up right here at the lake where we’d take our dogs for a walk to the boat ramp or on a paddle board while the lake was still calm followed by a boat ride to a sandbar. Then I’d spend the afternoon working on my honey-do list before ending the day with a sunset cruise and a swim. Shannon: I would spend the day exploring other towns nearby for food, craft breweries and window shopping! Do you have any big new plans for the ice cream boat? What will it be like this year? We plan on providing the same tasty treats and great service that you’ve come to expect from Joe and are entertaining the idea of adding some beverage options to wash them down with.
