Charlie Shyer is a three year old mini golden doodle who is spending his first winter in Florida and adapting well to life at Frenchman’s Creek. He enjoys meeting other dogs on his walks around the community and at the dog park. He has not, however, taken to riding in a golf cart. We are working on that. When not in Florida, Charlie lives in Purchase, New York with his 20 year old, Siamese cat “brother “ Ming. Charlie’s “parents”, BONNIE and HENRY SHYER , enjoy meeting other puppy parents, too!

Reba and Mr. Kip

I have had Dobermans for the past 20 years. The most fun time was when I had three together. They are loyal -lovable -gentle -and smart , and are called Velcro dogs because they want to be with people all the time. I decided I wanted to rescue a Doberman instead of going to a breeder. However, I had walked into a Petsmart ,that I knew was having a very large rescue group, only to look and I basically walked out with Kip. He has three things my oth- er dogs did not have -a tail ,floppy ears and something between his legs. He is a Louisiana leopard spotted Catahoula full of energy and is awesome with all dogs . He was found with his littermates by a ranger in a wooded area in Georgia, went to a local rescue where Ruffhouse rescue then brought him to New York. My Doberman is named after Reba McEntire and my c atahoula is named after Kip Moore (country singers). My days are planned around them!

DEBBIE HORNSTEIN

While on tour with member prospects I came across this beautiful bird. He was pecking in the planter (mess on ground). He then decided to follow us and abruptly stopped when he reached the carpet. He began prancing back and forth from one leg to the other. The prospects touring the club said, "look he's welcoming us". PAMELA RUDD Director of Marketing
