SSC in the NFL

Joel Bitonio worked for SSC for 4 years at the University of Nevada while he was a full time student and a full time student athlete. Now, he stars as #75 in his third season with the Cleveland Browns. As expected, Joel was very strong and was in charge of lifting the heavy items while working for SSC. Managers and staff can not say enough good things about the hard work- ing student, complimenting on how he was always very punctual, polite, friendly, and always ready when as- signed a task or event.

We are proud that Compass Group has been named one of the “Top 50 Companies Changing the World.” Fortune Magazine publishes the list an- nually after a lengthy assess- ment process, including jour- nalistic investigation. Compa- nies are ranked on 3 criteria:

1. Measureable social impact

2. Business results

Now in his third season in the NFL Joel will be a leader for the young team that drafted 14 new players this spring. Look for Joel to start on the offensive line at left guard this fall and cheer on a former co-worker for all his hard work and dedication.

3. Degree of innovation

Fortune’s annual “Change the World” list is intended “to showcase the power of capi- talism to improve the human condition by identifying 50 companies that have made an important social or environ- mental impact through their profit-making strategy and op- erations.” This edition of For- tune will hit the newsstands in September. We are all part of the solution when it comes to creating a better world, and we at SSC thank you for the sustainable efforts you all practice to make an impact.
