with Sri Ganesh

… The couple from “Adishakti” come in with their child – he is a teacher of martial arts from Kerala, I think – to have a quiet Darshan of Sri Ganesh and offer Rs. 10/-, very gently… … Once more, I wonder: I feel secure and fulfilled with Sri Ganesh, with this service and this daily offering; it is probably the only activity today in Auroville where I fit…! And that is precisely the question: Auroville is not meant to turn to intermediaries; both Auroville as a whole and each of us in Auroville, are meant to be directly before the Supreme. At least, this is my understanding of Your Guidance. And the thing is, I am still a little unsure: isn’t there a contradiction…? But I am discovering a whole, deep aspect of the Supreme and I feel it is truly Sri Ganesh, Lord Ganesha, such as has been worshipped by the Ganapatyas; and I find joy and understanding in this and in my heart I do not sense a contradiction: he is Your Son, Mother…! Only, what disturbs me is that You, in this incarnation, did not acknowledge this aspect, and neither did Sri Aurobindo, really… But my prayer and my movement, all the time, is to unite to an integrality of action that contains, includes and is completed by this very aspect… So, You see how I am still a little confused…!
