Just as I close the gate to leave, Shivaram rides in and produces an interesting book, a fat volume of stories, comments and descriptions of Sri Ganesh compiled by a Swami Subramuni; it was published in 1995 at the time when a worldwide series of “miracles” were reported, of images of Sri Ganesh actually drinking milk (I vaguely remember Kusum making some puzzled comments about these occurrences in many parts of the world and even wondering if we too ought to try it...)
