The event review  process could take 6 ‐ 8 weeks to complete and should not be  expected to be completed in less time as third party information may  be required and actions and costings agreed to satisfactorily deal  with any issues identified.  Corporate Event Safety Plan    Nominate an event manager who is a Lockton associate and  they must take overall charge, both in planning and on the day  and on larger events consider a deputy, who are both  competent to control any potential impacts on the health,  safety and welfare of participants.    Identify the responsibilities of the event manager and his/her  deputy.    The event manager must  pass full information about the event  plans to the Facilities Director who will then forward details to  our internal risk solutions health and safety advisor for review  and a summary of the event should be forward by the event  manager to Compliance for an insurance check and decide on  any need to inform the company insurers.   The Head of Group Property using the risk solutions health and  safety provider will draft an event risk profile based on the  information received from the event manager. The risk profile will  identify all potential impacts on the health safety and welfare of  participants; identify where liabilities exist as a result of the risks; the  control measures in place to mitigate liability; and further control  measures required.    The risk profile will then be communicated to all involved in the  planning, administration and management of the event.    The event manager will arrange a suitable number of planning  meetings to ensure the risk profile is known by all involved in  the event and that sufficient control measures are delegated to  the appropriate person/contractor for action.
