3155 廈門到杭州的欠資 Amoy to Hangchow Postage Due ​

Mailed on 20th December 1949 from Amoy (49.10.17), 6th January 1950 arrived in Hangchow (49.05.03), affixed with one Kwangtung Silver Yuan 1 fen (a rare example of Kwangtung Silver Yuan Cross District post liberation usage in Fukien) and one Revenue surcharge 4 fen, total value Silver 5 fen equal to Domestic postage. Although the letter was posted more than two months after liberation, the Fukien Military Control Commission permitted its delivery. However, upon its arrival in Hangchow on 6th January 1950, it was more than eight months after the liberation of Hangchow. Silver Yuan stamps were no longer accepted. A “T” Postage Due post mark was affixed and the recipient was required to pay the penalty.​ 1949年12月20日寄自廈門 (49.10.17), 1950年1月6日抵達杭州 (49.05.03), 上貼廣東銀元1分一枚, (罕有的廣東銀元在福建解放 後沿用), 印花改值基數4分一枚, 總值5分, 廈門郵局傳遞這已逾兩月銀元沿用期的銀元5分國內郵資,當抵達杭州時,距離 杭州解放已逾八個多月,因此蓋上 “T” 郵戳 要求收信人支付欠資及罰款。​ HK$ 14,000 - 18,000
