WELCOME to the Crocked Pot!
Time to plant flowers and get some yard
work done. Then it’s time for an ice
cold beer! So before you get started on
yard work or working on the boat, put
lunch or dinner in the crock pot. Pick up
a six pack, too. You will need one for
the crock pot…

3-4 pound beef brisket
2 cups sliced onions (2 onions)
12oz beer
½ cup chili sauce
2 tsp. steak seasoning
10 whole wheat buns, toasted if desired

Cut meat as needed to fit into a 4
quart crock pot. Trim fat is
necessary.

Layer onions first in the crock pot.
Top with meat.

Stir together beer, chili sauce and
steak seasoning. Pour over onions
and meat.
4.
Cover and cook on low for 20-12 hours
or high for 5-6 hours.
5.
Transfer meat to a cutting board,
reserve cooking liquid. Thinly slice
meat across the grain. Place meat on
the bottom piece of the buns. Using
a slotted spoon, remive onions from
cooking liquid and place on top of
meat. Drizzle with some cooking
liquid. Add bun top.
