Amputee placement is based on the decisions to lift vertically or horizontally. Determine if Patient Restraint System is needed for Amputees, leg injuries, vertical lift and high winds. Disconnect blue and orange top double wing buckles and grab red handle on patient restraint system cover. Sharply pull cover down the full length of sled. (See FIG. 1) Slide patient on sled and bring red handle on seat pad up through patient’s legs and refastsen top double wing buckles using color code. (Blue to blue, orange to orange.) (See FIG. 2) Adjust both straps through buckles until harness is snug from crotch to shoulder The top cover will slide down straps allowing for full harness adjustment. (See FIG. 3) 5 4 2 3 1
