Cover will completely open from either side to allow for chest and abdominal exposure if medical treatment is necessary. (See FIG. 4) Fasten all cross straps and Foot Loop Strap. Make as snug as possible to ensure rigidity of sled. (See FIG. 5) Patient Restraint System will prevent patient from any excessive movement within sled including leg pressure for vertical lift.

Indications

Extrication of a patient from a confined space or rescue situation to a wheeled stretcher or ambulance

Maximum load for the VLR is 450 kg (992 lbs.) This limit must not be exceeded.
