ביטאון לעובדי בריאות בנושא מחלת הסרטן והשלכותיה במה

בסיכון מוגבר, וכן אחות מאתרת אשר תעקוב אחריהם, בדגש על איתור והעלאת המודעות של אוכלוסייה זו, מעקב אחרי הבדיקות שמתבצעות, ומתן המלצות למעקב. סיכום סרטן המעי הגס הינו סרטן שכיח, וחלק לא מבוטל מהמטופלים הם בעלי סיפור משפחתי. סיפור משפחתי מעלה את הסיכון להתפתחות סרטן בקרובי משפחה מדרגה ראשונה. יש צורך בהעלאת המודעות של חולי סרטן המעי הגס וקרובי משפחתם לגבי הסיכון המוגבר לחלות והצורך בביצוע קולונוסקופיה לגילוי מוקדם ולמניעת הופעת המחלה. יש חשיבות רבה לביצוע המעקב בהתאם להנחיות האיגודים המקצועיים השונים, ובעתיד יש צורך בתוכניות איתור ומעקב אחרי אנשים הנמצאים בסיכון מוגבר לחלות בסרטן המעי הגס.
