ALPHA DELTA PI Alpha Delta Pi is the oldestnational sorority,having been founded in 1851. The ZetaPi chapter was organized at U.S.D. in 1977, and presently has 60 members actively involved in many areas of campus life. TheADPi's sponsor many events o campus, such as the Oxfam Rock-a-thon, the M*A*S*H- *B*A*S*H and a casino night. Theseare often done in con­ junction with the other Greek organizations on campus. Alpha Delta Piis a social organization whose goal stresses service and involvement in the community. A.M.A. The AmericanMarketing Association provides students in­ terested inmarketing and advertising with a link between the campus andthe professionalSan Diego business community. The club has organized many events and speakers this past year, including representatives from the Padres, Channel39, Shirle's Health Spa and Mesa Di tributing (Miller Beer). They also continued the tradition of T.G.I.F.'s every other weekend at Flanigan's. BACCHUS BACCHUS (Boosting Alcohol Consciousness Concerning University Students) is a university level, student run organi zation promoting the responsible use of alcohol. BACCHUS members have worked hard sponsoring such events as the Alcohol Awareness Week to inform the USD community about the effects of alcohol. BACCHUS also workedto advance the idea that everyone has achoice to drink or not to drink, and does not need to be pressured. In keeping with its creed of responsible drinking, BACCHUS presented its second annual Celebrity Roast. Beer and wine was served at the event, and all those present conducted themselves as responsible and mature drinkers. Thisyear's roastee was that wild and crazy gal Sr. Tim Malone.
