One of the factors influencing the decision

to create Advisian was a major strategic rethink

by WorleyParsons’ management designed to

reposition the group to meet the challenges of a

fast-changing global economy.

“This strategic rethink obviously involved

a great deal of market evaluation and research

and one point to emerge was that there was

definitely a demand (and a significant client

offering enhancement) in the marketplace for

a ‘one-stop’ advisory service combining man-

agement and strategic advisory services with a

multi-disciplinary, in-depth technical consult-

ing capability,” says Boughton.

Elaborating, Boughton explains that in the
