Vice Commodores Comments…
The work weekends are behind us and once again the NCYC Clubhouse and grounds
are ready for the winter months ahead. We had good member turnouts for the work
weekends which made the job of closing up the Island much easier. Thank you to all
who lent a hand.
I am in the process of creating the 2018 Calendar of events for next year. I hope all of
you participate and help plan our next year’s activities when called upon to
volunteer. I want to thank all of you who helped Commodore Pat, and his first Lady
Nancy, make 2017 a successful year at NCYC.
We have made arrangements with a new catering company. Four Cs Catering owned
and operated by Chef Tom Comford will be serving sit down dinners, and without
giving up any secrets, we think you'll be pleased with some of the most requested
items coming to next years menu.
Linda and I are excited to have Ken Lipowski and Julie Delauter as our Fleet Captains
for 2018. We look forward to three (3) great local rendezvous and one (1)
Commodore’s Cruise to the East Coast, round trip from New York City. There is still
time to sign up for the Commodore’s Cruise which will take place on September 22nd
thru September 29th, 2018. Please call Judy Baldwin (our Cruise Director) at
