B

rother International has launched its first

industrial tube printer. Conceptualised

to enhance productivity, the PT-E800T

industrial tube and label printer enables electricians,

distribution board builders, site engineers, server

installation technicians and cable installers to mark

their projects easily and effectively.

The robust PT-E800T prints up to 36 mm wide

TZe laminated labels; up to 17,7 mm heat shrink

tube; as well as direct to tube up to 6 mm high, all

from one compact labelling machine. With fast print

speeds of tube printing at 40 mm per second and

labels at 60mm per second, the PT-E800T allows

print jobs to be completed quickly and easily with an

optional rechargeable battery and base for on-site

use. It can be transported to where electrical work is

in progress and controlled with a laptop. Print is via

a USB connection with the Brother P-touch Editor

software for label printing and the Brother Cable

Label Tool software for tube printing.

Brother is the first company to introduce

industrial tube printers with integrated twin

engines. This innovation allows electricians to

switch between tube and label print modes without

having to remove or reinsert consumables before

printing. Compatible with durable TZe tapes, the

toughest laminated labels in the market, the PT-

E800T accepts labels of up to 36 mm in width,

supporting a wider range of labelling applications.

The PT-E800T further maximises printing options

with the ability to print up to 32 mm on 36 mm

labels, and up to 6 mm on tubes.

With the PT-E800T, electricians can replace

selected components themselves. Tube cutters,

cleaners, and conveyance rollers can be replaced

on-site in a few easy steps. The PT-E800T includes a

free, automatic three-year carry-in warranty against

manufacturer defects.

FLUKE

has launched the Fluke 64 MAX IR

thermometer with internal memory, unattended

monitoring, improved accuracy, increased battery

life, and the precision needed to do the job

accurately. Designed and tested to survive a 3 m

drop, this lightweight, compact infrared thermometer

works in the harshest of environments, even

when unattended. Applications include industrial

maintenance, electrical and HVAC industries.

The Fluke 64 MAX IR features:

• Precise laser technology for more accurate and

repeatable measurements.

• Temperature accuracy of up to ≥ 0 °C: ± 1 °C or

± 1 % of reading, whichever is greater with 20:1

distance to spot ratio (64 MAX).

• Flashlight (64 MAX) and large, easy-to-read

backlit LCD display for easy viewing even in

dark environments.

• IP54 rated for extra protection against airborne

contaminants.

• Set time and desired interval between meas-

urements and Auto Capture will capture spot

temperatures unattended (64 MAX).

• 99 data point logging (64 MAX).

• Displays the minimum, maximum or average

temperature, or the difference between two

measurements.

• Hi and Lo alarms for rapid display of measure-

ments outside set limits.

• The 62 MAX+ has dual rotating lasers to help

identify the area to be measured. The meas-

urement area is the spot between the dots (62

MAX and 64 MAX have one).

Fluke is represented locally by Comtest.
