MATERIAL AND METHODS: Twenty-five patients who
underwent 125I seed implantation, along with their family
members, were provided dosimeters to measure direct
radiation 10 exposure. The estimated lifetime exposure dose
(ELED) and precaution time for holding children near the
patient's chest were calculated.
