From a management point of view, what
do you see as the most important aspect of
maintaining a successful business and for
getting it to prosper?
Many aspects should be taken into
consideration and so these are difficult
to summarise in just a few lines, given
that
maintaining
constant
profitability
and development for a company is today
becoming an ever more difficult and complex
task.
Therefore, I do not think there is any one,
single factor for achieving success. Success
comes from the positive combination of
various companies’ capabilities, teamwork and
the entrepreneurial will to succeed.
How important to the success of the industry
are the exhibitions held around the world. Do
you think there is a need for an increase or
decrease in the number of these, and do you
think they should be staged more often or less
frequently?
The wire Düsseldorf trade fair is considered
by all operators as the most important in our
sector and has always been a positive, driving
event for trade and business.
For this reason, the leading role of wire

must
be
maintained
and
undisturbed by events in other sectors that,
besides being of little interest for operators,
reduce the number of people present at the

invest significant resources.
Therefore, we feel the number of trade fairs
should be limited as much as possible to help

in our sector, in the interest of exhibitors and
visitors alike.
